The 2018 5K Walk/Jog/Run Training

Our first training program for 2018 starts on Monday evening April 2nd in Washington Park on the south side of the Tennis Courts.  We start at 5:45pm through May 7th.


We'll go over the options for this program and what we hope to accomplish at our first meeting then head out for our first session. 

It is open to everyone at no cost.  This is sponsored by the Capital City Striders who mission it is to get people out of their chairs and start moving their body.  Inactivity is what's killing us.  

The science is in, Interval Training is the way to go!  To prepare you'll need a good pair of walking or running shoes, comfortable clothes for the season and a positive attitude.
